Historical Groundwater Pumpage

The Texas Water Development Board conducts an annual survey of ground and surface water use to collect current, accurate information on quantities, sources, and related water use data for municipal and industrial water users. Collected data is used to develop summary water use information for municipal, manufacturing, steam electric power, and mining water uses, in addition to irrigation and livestock water use estimates.

For groundwater pumpage, the TWDB estimates the volumes for each of the counties and aquifers in the State of Texas. Use the tools below to create reports of groundwater pumpage.
