EPA Awards ARRA CWSRF Grant
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today that they have awarded the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) over $179 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 for projects to be funded through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
TWDB approved the ARRA CWSRF Intended Use Plan at the Board meeting held on June 18, 2009. Invitations to submit applications for funding have been administered to all eligible applicants.

DRAFT ARRA CWSRF IUP - Includes Project Priority List with Drawn Funding Line
Based on the allocation of funds to categories illustrated on Page 6 of the draft ARRA CWSRF IUP, a funding line has been drawn on Appendix C. Project Priority List. Please note, after considering public comment the funding line may change in the final ARRA CWSRF IUP. The final funding line may be adjusted thereafter as the TWDB proceeds with reviewing applications. See page 10 of the ARRA CWSRF IUP.
TWDB May Board Meeting
At the May 21 Board Meeting, the TWDB was briefed on the development of Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Intended Use Plan and authorized the Executive Administrator to waive or modify certain CWSRF rules for implementation of an ARRA special capitalization grant.
