TWDB Self-Evaluation Report Prepared for the Sunset Commission
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is one of 32 agencies slated for review by the Sunset Advisory Commission before the next legislative session. Staff from the Sunset Advisory Commission evaluate each of the programs and functions of an agency, asking the fundamental question: Do the policies and services carried out by the agency continue to be needed? Once their evaluation is completed, the Sunset Commission will make recommendations to the 82nd Legislature to be convened January 2011.
Sunset staff gather information from a broad range of sources, including the agency's Self-Evaluation Report, which identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and issues the agency feels should be considered during the Sunset Review process. Download the TWDB's Self-Evaluation Report, which provides a general background description of the TWDB, identifies the agency's biggest opportunities for improvement and policy issues.
