News Release | Austin - April 18, 2013 The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $14,277,661 as follows:

- $4,750,000 loan to the Agua Special Utility District (Hidalgo County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $181,768 loan to the Aqua Water Supply Corporation (Bastrop County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $401,500 loan to the City of Buda (Hays County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $3,245,393 loan to the City of McAllen (Hidalgo County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $650,000 loan to the City of Wimberley (Hays County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $1,170,000 loan to the City of Gordon (Palo Pinto County) to finance water system improvements;
- $685,000 loan to the City of Willow Park (Parker County) to finance water system improvements;
- $217,000 loan and $217,000 grant to the City of McAllen (Hidalgo County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $2,760,000 loan to the Olmito Water Supply Corporation (Cameron County) to finance water system improvements.
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning and preparing the State Water Plan for the development of the state's water resources. TWDB administers cost-effective financial programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
