News Release | Austin - October 20, 2011 The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $48,643,460 as follows:

- $7,845,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Arlington (Tarrant County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $630,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Bedford (Tarrant County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $24,440,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority (Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe Counties) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $860,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Cameron (Milam County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $2,825,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority (Denton County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $1,000,000 from the Agricultural Water Conservation Program to the Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District (Carson, Gray, Donley, Roberts, Armstrong, Potter, Hutchinson and Wheeler Counties) to finance an agricultural water conservation program;
- $9,961,460 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and $1,082,000 from the Economically Distressed Areas Program to the Nueces River Authority (Real County) to finance construction costs to provide first-time wastewater service.
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning and preparing the State Water Plan for the development of the state's water resources. TWDB administers cost-effective financial programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
