The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $32,256,610 as follows:
- $7,167,700 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund-Disadvantaged Community Program to the City of La Feria (Cameron County) to finance water system improvements;
- $2,635,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Robstown (Nueces County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $8,381,340 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund - Disadvantaged Communities Program to the City of La Feria (Cameron County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $375,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund - Disadvantaged Community Program to the Bruni Rural Water Supply Corporation (Webb County) to finance water system improvements;
- $1,765,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund - Disadvantaged Community Program to the City of Roscoe (Nolan County) to finance water system improvements;
- $1,445,000 from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Bryan (Brazos County) to finance wastewater system improvements;
- $4,975,000 from the Texas Water Development Fund to the Rayburn Country Municipal Utility District (Jasper County) to finance water and wastewater system improvements;
- $92,570 from the Economically Distressed Areas Program Research and Planning Fund to the City of Menard (Menard County) to finance planning costs for a water system improvement project; and
- $5,420,000 from the Texas Water Development Fund to the Montgomery County Utility District No. 3 (Montgomery County) to finance wastewater system improvements.

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning and preparing the State Water Plan for the development of the state's water resources. TWDB administers cost-effective financial programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
