Seymour Aquifer in Haskell, Knox, and Baylor CountiesGroundwater Availability Model (GAM)

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) contracted with INTERA, Inc. (who was teamed with Water Prospecting and Resource Consulting LLC, Parsons Engineering Science Inc., Enprotec Inc., and several individual experts) to develop a conceptual model of the Seymour Aquifer in Haskell, Knox, and Baylor Counties in Texas. The conceptual model was completed in 2012.

In 2010, the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) began development of a refined groundwater availability model for the Seymour Aquifer in Knox, Haskell, and Baylor counties based largely on the conceptual model developed by INTERA, Inc. This model is currently under development.

Aquifer Data

Aquifer data is only available as a package for the entire model area and requires GIS software for processing. Due to the size of raw/source data files for this model, this information has not been posted on the web. The raw/source data may be requested on CD(s) in an electronic format with a processing fee by contacting David Thorkildsen (512-936-0871).
