Webinar - Water Conservation Annual Reports

- Do you have questions about completing your water conservation annual report? What is residential use? How to determine GPCD? Recent legislative changes have required TWDB to revise our reporting form. Entities are now required to report water use by customer classification. This training webinar is designed to help you better understand these classifications and definitions, and to assist you in completing the annual report form. We will provide additional guidance and help answer all of these questions and more.

Desalination Down Under and Up Here

- The TWDB will host a roundtable to explore the state of desalination in Australia, the United States, and in Texas. The meeting will run from 1:30-4:00 p.m. This no-charge event will feature presentations by leaders in desalination research from Australia, the United States, and Texas. Following the presentations, moderator Tom Pankratz will facilitate a discussion on the role of desalination as a drought response water supply strategy, effective desalination research agendas, strategies for addressing the energy requirements of desalination facilities, and practical options for managing desalination concentrate.
